Ditch these things to have an amazing 2024

Updated: Mar 18, 2024

Want to make this your Best Year yet?  If you do (and I am pretty sure you want to) , here are a few things you definitely need to DITCH!

Here goes the first one...

  • Your comfort zone - yeah , yeah , yeah...this is so cliched. I know! But so many people ARE STUCK because they are comfortable. So how do you ditch this zone? By creating a compelling vision for your life. A vision that forces you to embrace the discomforts of change. A vision that clearly captures what you want in life. I say want because your needs are not what motivate you. Find that reason to go harder in second half.

  • Caring about what people think - This is absolutely none of your business. It only becomes your business if and when they verbalize their thoughts and you choose to respond.

  • Fear of the unknown/success/ failure - This one is easier said than done, but it is very doable. I know you know that God didn't give you a spirit of fear. What he gave you was the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. Here is what you should do the next time you feel fearful. Give it to God. Ask Him for guidance as you assess the likelihood of possible outcomes.

  • Trying to do it all on your own - You can do anything, but you can't do everything! With that said, learn to ask for help. Outsource activities if you can afford to . But stop trying to do it all alone.

  • Negative Self Talk - Chances are, there are people already talking bad about you. Don't join them. Pull out your list of affirmations or go create some. Align your affirmations with your compelling vision, look in the mirror everyday and speak them out loud.

This is your Epic Season. Go forth and be the best player you can be in this second half of 2023.

May the favour of heaven be with YOU!

Talk soon,

Coach Sim
